We have moved from Beginners Circle Jam >> level Up Circle.
That's a really nice game, easy to learn and use but quite difficult at some points. It makes this game catchy and nice to play for more than minutes ! :)
Music and graphics are well managed and makes a perfect harmony with the style of this game.
I like the game, as it is tough, but it's one of those "deal with it" tough games. I mean, the mechanics are straightforward (I love how smooth the wall jumping is) and - more importantly - are consistent. The game doesn't lie to you about difficulty, it is what it is and you know what to expect from it. You have to adapt to it and then reap the rewards of your hard work.
Great job, double kudos for little Cthulhu looking real cute 🐙
this game is surperb, the first level is very difficult, but the game hooked me so i wanted to keep playing. Amazing job you guys, for only 2 people, this is insane!
Damn it’s hard, especially the part right after the 1st checkpoint.
But it’s fun and challenging.
Overall, the game experience is great, it emulate the theme pretty well and the visual are working (especially the backgrounds). The core mechanics are pretty simple, but quantity and the evolving patterns are quite fun!
I wish there was some other character and other ways to get through the level, overall, it deserve a nice rating!!!
We wished it too, but there was so little time. Not only were there supposed to be other characters, but other terrains. And some built-in advantages and disadvantages for the different characters for any given situation.
The art is extremely well done. The jumping feels really good. The animations help the controls feel even better. The game is also very fun, it keeps you hitting space bar to go back to the start every time.
I think maybe some checkpoints after really difficult areas would be a nice touch, but I'm also terrible at platformers.
Thank you! We added some checkpoints in the different levels, but didn’t want to make too many of them. Depending on the feedback we’ll receive, we might add some (and that will make MarieArty very happy).
